EPub. It is an open source format to facilitate the publishing of e-books. They are zip files made up of a few files stored together. The content of the book are held together in these files, including the metatags of the author and titles to allow easy identification. It is stored as HTML, to allow for manipulation and devices recognise its standard format.
Sites like Sigil, Code Academy, iBooks Author, Calibre, Project Gutenberg, Scrivener, Scribus, Write Latex, WordPress.org, are useful in creating, editing and storing on-line digital publishing. To get you started, Sigil is an open source programme that helps you make an e-book. It’s free and full of tools to create your publication.
Additionally, IFTTT is a site that could save a lot of time and effort when linking internet connections.
